Dr. Richard A. Eckhart

Dr. Richard A. Eckhart

Dr. Eckhart has over 50 years’ of combined industrial, business, and academic experience. With degrees through the doctoral level in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and Penn State University, he has held industrial positions with several well-known corporations including du Pont, Monsanto, Exxon, Honeywell, Parsons, and SimSci. In addition, he has been on the faculties of a number of colleges and universities including Azusa Pacific University, Penn State, Villanova, UCLA, University of Maryland, Cal State – Fullerton, Northcentral University, CALCampus, and California National University, teaching courses in mathematics, physics, chemical engineering, and computer science. He has been teaching in the online environment for more than twenty years.

Dr. Eckhart has experience as an applications software developer using Visual Basic, Oracle, FORTRAN, BASIC, and C/C++ programming languages. He specializes in mathematical modeling, steady-state and dynamic simulation, process control, and custom applications software development. He is an experienced site developer for the World Wide Web and is also a Registered Professional Engineer.

Dr. Eckhart lives with his wife in Prescott, Arizona. He plays tennis, enjoys hiking and biking, and participates in the music ministry at his church as a singer, musician, and actor. He may be contacted at:
